Thomas Chau leaves AOL Radio

Thomas Chau released a Facebook post on Wednesday saying that it was his last day at AOL Radio. He was responsible for overseeing the programming of over 200 online stations. Thomas was at AOL for more than 9 years. He’s a really great guy and programmer and I’m hoping that someone is smart enough to bring him onboard to help their company quickly. If you want to reach out to Thomas you can find him on Facebook.com/TOMCHAU or on Twitter at TomChau.

And that’s going to do it for the news this week.

Featured Content:

This week I had a chance to talk with Will Calder, APD/MD as well as doing production at Power 96 in Miami. He’ll talk about how a guy from Wisconsin wound up in radio in NYC and now Miami. We also talk about his experience with his former internet station, iParty radio. And about the workload that radio station employees are now under and why he’s a tough guy to get a hold of.
Pick Hit of the Week:
This weeks song comes in from RCA/Republic Records. Here’s a little sample of “Elastic Heart” by Sia featuring the Weekend and it’s my Pick Hit of the Week.
And that’s going to do it for this episode of the Dance Music Consultant, I’d like to thank Will Calder for coming on the show and giving us some insight on radio.
